Jake Gyllenhaal cover for Entertainment Weekly from 2004. I did a lot of color corrections on this image but somebody flattened down my master file before I could save out a copy. But you can see some of the retouching.

That's what the art and photo directors wanted. I actually wrote a disclaimer journal about that :lol: I don't always agree with the requests but it was my job to make them.

Yeah, that shot was probably retouched by the photog. before we ever got it. A lot of the stuff they asked me to do were edits made just for the sake of editing something. Most of it was totally unnecessary. Too many cooks as they say...

I did a bunch of work on this image but I never got a sample of the original scan. So the "original" was actually my second round of corrections. Because it was a weekly and server space was in demand, they would sometimes flatten my files down without asking me!
